Young Beef

I was at Cold Storage yesterday, wanting to buy a small block of beef for my curry. And this is what I'd got in my basket:

YOUNG BEEF

Why is it called young beef? Can somebody enlighten me?

Before anyone could enlighten me, I was on my way to burst into laughter. If meat from cow junior / baby cow / calf is called young beef, then what makes me?

YOUNG PORK!
