Best Roasted Peanuts

During my 26 years of living and still on-going, I have had tried an array of brands, for roasted peanuts.

I have tried almost every single brand of roasted peanuts that you can find in the supermarket.

But, this one has definitely caught my tastebuds, and I fall head over heels over this one!

Roasted Peanuts, served only on Malaysia Airlines.

Available at approximately 30, 000 feet from ground level.

Especially the Sarawak sector, specifically, Kuching-Sibu or Sibu-Kuching via Boeing.

Crunchy, fragrant, not overly salty, and most important of all, ladies and gentlemen, no signs of rancid!

Sibu Food Diva endorses Malaysia Airlines (MAS) roasted / salted peanuts.

You don't have to fly MAS to eat the roasted peanuts.... Just go to any Supermarket and buy Skinless Shandong Peanuts, packed by Home Peanut Garden Food Industries....

Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy....

Loveee those peanuts, always ask for more but then again some of the abin crew can be very stingy.

They have another version, sweet & spicy but this are not so nice.

I agree.
These are without doubt the best peanuts that I have ever tasted. I flew with MAS in December 2009 and just about lived on these peanuts on the way.
So far I haven't been able to find anything that comes close to these in local shops.
If anyone knows where I can find these nuts in Melbourne, Australia, please let me know.
Otherwise I will have to try to justify another flight with MAS so I can eat more.

Hahaha :) guess you have to fly MAS again soon! But these days, Boeing is rare, and MASwings do not serve roasted peanuts.

MAS peanuts is different from supermarket peanut because its serve to us very fresh...they will give u a bunch of free peanut if flight x ramai orang...or they will throw away all the peanuts to tong sampah...(FA tell me)

I love the peanut...where can I buy it? I'm from Kuching. Thanks.

Where can I buy the peanut in Kuching please?

sibu food diva said...

sorry Liew, unfortunately you cannot buy. i can give you alternative though, you go to Takiong in Spring, go look out for Planters Roasted Peanuts (salted version) they are as good! or maybe even better, I don't know, it is up to you to judge the taste. :) Cheerio. The other means is to travel to Sibu via Boeing (not MasWings) and if you are lucky the air crew would be serving. These days, sometimes they do not serve at all.
