Are those real chickens wrapped in newspaper? And if yes, are they alive?

Ahhhh!!! The newspaper chickens, a tourist attraction! "Old mother hens", selling cheap at RM10 each. Will be snapped up in a jiffy - the ethnic people use those to cook their pansoh chicken or curry...but I don't really like. Prefer the regular ones.

Thank you, Sean. it's not crowded because it wasn't peak hour, it could get rather stuffy in the early morning. :)

Yes, the yum list. they are real and alive. :)

Suituapui: I never like "old mother hens" too. there was once a very famous stall near Cathay cinema selling "old mother hens" hainanese curry style. it was a big hit! don't know if you know about this.
