Sugarbun Fish Burger

I miss Sarawak very much.

Like, very. Very, very.

Life in Kuala Lumpur is new chapter for me.

It feels ultra weird to think that Kuala Lumpur is my new home.

Previously, I was staying only 3 weeks the max, then I hurriedly packed and flew back to Sarawak with PLEASURE, be it Kuching or Sibu.

Oh well, tourist no more I am, here in KL!

Sugarbun Fish Burger, Sibu
I cannot live without... Sugarbun.

Ask any of my family members and they are happy to tell you that I am a fast food junkie.

Oh well. Not that I am proud of it, but whenever I am in Sibu, I do not drive.

I have to look for food on foot.

Now these options are sitting pretty in my vicinity.

If I have to choose between McD, KFC and Sugarbun, my first choice is Sugarbun.

And this fish burger has been a firm favourite.

After more than 20 years, the taste is still the same. So delicious.

If you are first timer travelling to Sarawak, be sure to try this fish burger out ;)

Still not buying my bombastic review about this burger?

Let me tell you, a renowned Sarawakian tattoo artist based here in Peninsular, love this to bits whenever she bumps into my husband she gladly tells him that she loves this fish burger and that if I / my husband happen to go back to Sarawak, she wants takeaway. not one but many.

:P

Though, I cannot be responsible if there is slight disparity of the fish burger served in Sugarbun; be it the oil used to deep-fry the fish, the freshness of the coleslaw, etc etc.

If you want the best of the best.

I say, the outlet opposite Tanahmas Sibu.

Cheerio :)

reading this definitely makes me wish that there was a sugarbun in KL! =) i hope you'll get to make regular trips back home and that as time passes, you'll feel a nice balance between being in KL and sarawak again...

My favourite too...though usually, I would not go near any franchise or fast food places. This one's a class of its own - a head above the rest!
