Hagen Bake and Brew, Mont Kiara, KL

Some of my readers asked me.

Why is that my KL posts concentrate a lot in Mont Kiara?

Simply because I am not very mobile and a sick person can only limp and hop :P

This is one of the neighboring place which I frequent quite often.

If you non-Muslims and you love hearty breakfast, this is the it place for you.

But if you are Muslim, do head on down to La Bodega instead.

As per say, I have very bad memory loss, so, the breakfast above is the most expensive item in the breakfast menu, you can't go wrong with that.

My verdict? Very nice~~~~~~~~~

:)

(Feed pork to me and I will be very happy)

By the way, they bake their own breads too. I try to guess the nationality of the head chef of this place.

My guess is that he is a German.

Next is cheese toasties.

The onions are add-on.

The crews at Hagen are very friendly bunch.

Very nice people.

Also, this place: everything they do, they do it meticulously.

Even coffee is top-notched.

They have va-va voom coffee machine.

How do I know, simply because I am very "kaypoh" (busybody).

But I am not a busybody when it comes to affairs of other people. (Food, yes).

The platter as shown above, is the second most expensive breakfast item in the menu.

The pork sausages are juicy and succulent, not overly salty.

Just simply out of the world.

A perfect breakfast when you wake up on the wrong side of the bed.

Not to mention, they serve freshly blend orange juice.

Not the sort you get from the packet.

Ah, dinner.

Recently, I have discovered this.

Seafood pasta. The spaghetti was simmered in white wine sauce.

Tres bien!

Next is t-bone pork simmered in red wine sauce.

Food is tainted with alcohol! :)

But I like!

The menu is not very extensive, but the food is simply gorgeous.

Unpretentious and straight forwardly good.

I have blogged about their pork schnitzel here.

Enjoy :)
