Sibu Food Diva the Barista

Once upon a time I delightfully announced to my friends.

"I want to be a part - time barista!"

Flashing a huge grin. :)

And my friends practically jumped from their seats. "What?! What is wrong with you? From an engineer to a lawyer? You must be kidding me!"

Ay caramba! I meant barista. Not barrister.

I used Lavazza Crema e Gusto

No prize for guessing. Muku is a nickname. An endearment term given by my super loco family.

My legs are giving me trouble again. :(

I can't walk much, so I have to fix my own coffee.

In the meantime, I have updated my silver blog.

Here is the weekly update:

Photography: Sibu Photos

I quote Andrew Zimmern:

"Please be a traveler, not a tourist.Try new things, meet new people, and look beyond what's right in front of you. Those are the keys to understanding this amazing world we live in."

Every time I made a trip back to my hometown, Sibu, I see things in different perspective. I realized that I have been away from Sibu for a decade plus for now, staying in various cities around Malaysia.

Every single time. This town never fails to amaze me.

These are just some photos which I took the previous time I was back.

Still am very much fascinated by my small hometown after all these years.

Camera For Hyperthyroidism Patient

And so, I was asked.

What camera do I possess?

It is a Canon S95.

:)

It is fast enough for my shaky hands caused by my disease, hyperthyroidism.

It is so good that I use Auto mode mostly, with CMOS censor, it is just perfect.

Also, it is fast enough to capture that precious moments without worrying about shaky hands that might produce blurry photos.

Again, using it is believing. :) I'm just replying to one of my blog readers who emailed me regarding this question.

Cheerio :) Canon, delighting me always.

Dog Photos

SSPCA dog

I do not feel like saying a lot of things these days, I do not want to share my melancholic sadness either.

However let me entertain you with some of my dog photos, which I painstakingly shot.

(My female dogs [I refrain from using the word b****] are really playful bunch).

I got muscle cramps while shooting them, but I must say I feel very happy to have them in my life.

The black one is adopted from SSPCA, while the white one was a gift.

Cheerio. :)

Fairy Cave, Kuching

I did not bump into any fairies, but this place rocks.

It is a haven for rock climbers.

1,2,3 go!

This is Mel, a very experienced rock climber.

Then come Damien, also another extreme sports enthusiast.

And this... ladies and gentlemen,

our lady rock climber all the way from Singapore.

And this, is a man from Germany.

Coincidently, he attends the same dance studio as I do.

Can you imagine, a man who is both capable of moving his feet daintily during waltz and this, hoisting himself up during rock climbing?

Are you game for this?
