Laksa at 456 Coffeeshop, Kuching

If you crave for old fashion laksa with omelet strips and generous amount of coriander (which is a rare gem these days), do head on down to 456 Coffeeshop, same area as One TJ.

Sibu Food Diva gives her nod of approval.

Uncle Dom, Sibu

My family brought me to this place after I flew home on a surprise visit.

Love this place at first sight.

Uncle Dom Cafe, Sibu.

Milk Tea

Tom Yam Beehoon

Fried flat noodles with egg sauce

Sambal Sotong Rice

Fried Hokkien Noodles

Everything is fine here, lovely food, lovely ambience, except that I need to voice out a wee bit of dissatisfaction.

It takes eternity for the chili sauce to arrive!

Waiters and waitresses should be more attentive.

One of the best Kampua in Sibu, Moi Soung Coffeeshop

This coffeeshop is always full.

Really really full.

And you have to be early to sample this old dame's great tasting kampua.

It's located opposite the harbour and Cafe Cafe (Hong Leong bank), at the end of Island Road.

This is it, the signature kampua with red wine infused pork mince soup.

The photos aren't that nice, coz I trembled a lot that day.

My favourite Teochew Porridge, Sibu

This Teochew Porridge has come all the way.

From father to sons, and to daughter in law, and soon grandchildren.

The best part of all is that, all the good food in Sibu, is just within walking distance from my dad's shop.

And I present to you, my favourite breakfast haunt, Teochew Porridge at Central Market.

Generous amount of pork mince in the porridge. Mmmm...~ And you might want to know, the pork mince is infused with the broth from dried squid.

For VVIP purposes, just tell the uncle or auntie, that you are a friend of Mathew's daughter.

Best Stir Fried "Pak Kui" in Sibu, Yummy Cafe

This is, undeniably the best stir-fried "pak kui", a Foochow delicacy similar to flat noodles in Sibu.

And what's not to like, it's stir fried by a famous Hongkie singer, Aaron Kwok.

:P

His nickname, that is.

And this is Hokkien Mee, by another stall vendor.

Best Laksa in Kuching, Foody Goody, Stutong

This is no doubt, the best Sarawak laksa in Kuching.

Ah Mui Laksa, at Foody Goody, Stutong (same block as Kuching Specialist Hospital).

Enjoy visual feasting!

Note: I had this on the morning of my horrendous accident. Makan selamat eh, you reckon? :P

Laksa, special. RM7.

Sugarbun, theSpring, Kuching

Words cannot describe how happy I am to be back as one piece.

Thank you everyone for your kind and loving support.

This is my first indulgence after weeks and weeks of misfortunes this October.

A homegrown brand, Sugarbun.

Broasted chicken with spicy sauce and served with fragrant rice.

Trauma

I had, the most frightful moment of my life. Last Thursday.

And what's not to like, anxiety attack + chest pain followed suit.

I will be away for a while, resting, trying to get over the trauma.

Till then, hugs and kisses.
