Kaki Pendek

I am telling you, never ever underestimate someone who's vertically challenged. After a week plus staying at my new apartment, I've finally put up the curtain. Sans the ladder. ;)

After a week of free show to the people in BDC area, I finally think enough is enough. Hence i gather some wisdom and courage to put up my curtain after numerous failed attempts to do so, due to my short legs.

Somehow, when I was lying on my bed yesterday afternoon, something struck my mind. chair + my sky high Vincci heels might just do the trick! And I did!

Look how BRILLIANT si pendek (Ms Shortie) can be.;)

SK-II

I have just stumbled upon these two pages of SK-II advertisement while browsing through a few
magazines yesterday.

There you go, you have passionate SK-II users... users for 12, 9, 8 and 2 years.

But I stand in between 8 and 2, I wonder if SK-II would like to slot me in.

Passionate SK-II user for 6 years.

Joan Dolly

Miracle water has become part of my life ever since I was 20. 6 years has passed, and SK-II is still bringing joyful surprises to my skin, making it more radiant and smooth than ever. The youthfulness SK-II has in store for me is exceptionally extraordinaire.

Joan Dolly is a former civil engineering lecturer. She is currently pursuing post-graduate degree at a local university.

Tea at Four Points by Sheraton Kuching

I was in the lift just now, a few staffs struck a conversation with me. It went like this:

Stranger: Hello! Which year you are in?
Me: First.
Stranger: Civil engineering?
Me: Yeah.
Stranger: *Snicker* Diploma?
Me: phd.
Stranger: (Almost choked by the breath he took in)

Eventually, I gave him a big teethy grin as a sign of multiple gratitude for mistaken me as one diploma student.

If you think i barely pass 21, kindly let me know.
:)

You might get lucky coz I shall buy you a tea at Four Points by Sheraton.

See, everything is so nice here.

Even the sugar sachet packing is awesome.

This is my latte. Lately, i'm high on caffeine.

This is Mediterranean Wrap on Focaccia Bread.

Hmm.. a medley of zucchini, capsicum and brinjal in very light dressing. Every mouthful is a burst of sensation to my palate. It is this real good. No joke. Unless you are one ferocious meat eater, that's all..

The rest of the photos speak for themselves.

Fancy a tea with me?

Lion Dance at Four Points by Sheraton Kuching 9/02/2008

I am very honored to be able to witness the lion dance at the newly-opened Four Points by Sheraton in Kuching. Present here were VIPs, including the governor and Puan Seri Wong Sui Choo and her sons; and not forgetting VOP...(very ordinary person) also, which no introduction is required. ;) Enjoy the pics, there's no need for me to describe, the pics are good enough to tell a story on its own.

The byproducts after the lions had burped out.. :P or so it seems, correct me if I'm wrong.

Driving in Sibu

Driving in Sibu makes me ponder and wonder if Sibu people are mostly American educated.

Are you one?

A once British reigned state has more American educated rather than British educated citizen? I'm referring to baby boomers too.

Peculiar, peculiar indeed.

But nevermind that. :)

I guess these American-educated Sibu people living in Sibu are not aware of their location transition from US to Malaysia.

Hello, Kindly move to the left lane, please. You think it's so cool to hog the right lane at 30/40 km/h? This is Sibu, Sarawak, Malaysia, people. Please wake up.

Oh, anyways, the newly elected President of US might be oh-so-delighted that in a small town like Sibu, US ed people outnumbered the ones being UK ed.
