Best Fish Head Curry in KL

To be honest, I'm no fan of fish. As I am hailed from Sarawak, fresh fish is readily available in the market. I grow up eating a lot of fish, therefore, I don't have any cravings for fish during my almost a decade stay in Johore Bahru.

But I soon realize and learnt from my boyfriend, thinking of what to eat in KL can be very mind-boggling. Like Hokkien people always say, "no prawns, fish also can do-lah!" which translates to anything also can do..

Then again, I must caution you. This is not a tom dick or harry kind of fish head curry. If it satisfies a non fish lover bitch like I am, I have to say, it's real good. :)

If you don't find the fish head meaty enough, you can always ask for add on fish chunks.

Greens stir-fried to perfection.

Where is this place, it's Restoran Kari Kepala Ikan Jalan Pudu

I just type it out just in case you have severe case of myopia. ;)

Dim Sum @ Taman Connaught (corner lot coffeeshop)

Your dim sum aficionado is back ;)

There's one very jam-packed coffeeshop which serves lovely dim sum in KL, located at Taman Connaught. It's a corner lot shop, just opposite CIMB block.
I've been there several times (upon request). :) Apparently, when I was there on my last trip, me and Victor were seated next to a group of three girls, and one of them particularly caught my attention. She's tanned and didn't look Chinese at all, and she was blabbing away in Cantonese with her other two girlfriends. When I sat down, the conversation between the girls was suddenly being halted. The sun-kissed girl had asked her two other friends to look at me. I guess I'm no less different from her! She must have thought, what the heck is a Malay girl doing in a Chinese restaurant, judging from my not so Chinese features. :P

And to that, we toast to my not-so-Chinese look. Have a feast, peeps!

Thank God It's Friday TGIF @ Pavillion

Give me TGIF anyday!
Aah..there you go..

I totally endorse TGIF! yeah! It's totally true..serving up good times daily!

For appetizers, I recommend parmesan-crusted chicken quesadillas.

Take a look at it..It's toasted flour tortilla with melted cheese inside.
And there you go..

Here comes the main attraction of the evening.. Jack Daniel's everything!

This is a pic of JD steak.

But I ordered JD ribs..

The taste of the ribs is perfect 10. No joke..perfect 10. I would say, better than other popular outlets that also serve ribs. As I've said, you cannot go wrong with TGIF.

Trip to Friday's is never complete...sans dessert.

And my personal recommendation.. Mocha Mud Pie.

It will just blow you away with its richness..
I wouldn't mind Friday's any day.. given if my cholesterol level is under control. :)

Apartment Downtown KLCC

Currently, I am in KL. Yes, you've heard me right. Enjoying my gastronomic delightful adventure.

Apartment Downtown KLCC was my very first stop for indulgence.

I've been to Apartment Downtown twice, and this is my recommendation: baked chocolate pudding.

You don't need a man or a woman to make you float on cloud 9, one shot of baked chocolate pudding will send you to seventh heaven right away!
