The Dumpling Tea House Sibu

When I was back in Sibu two weeks ago, I had the chance to come to this place, which is a very humble and lowly one.. Sibu people has yet to know that they can find the best gyoza in this place..It's called The Dumpling Teahouse. So sorry about the reverse wordings, I was too hungry to even inch out to take photo of the outlet..so there you go, read backwards, thank you.

The shop is small and cozy, but I do have to admit it's hot! As in I'm sweaty in here.

Look at the variety of food being listed here.. but I warn you not to be too adventurous in this shop.
Whenever I come to this place, I would surely order two dishes, one is this :..gyoza. or pot stickers, or suikow, or dumpling. Whatever you wish to call it. One bite into it, and the juice will burst in your mouth, awakening all your senses.. Hmm..lovely.
And next, is this..Rou Zha Mien @ minced beef noodles. It's listed as the first dish in the menu, just in case you don't read Chinese like I do. :)
Need I say more? ;) It will haunt you in your dreams.. Happy feasting, peeps. :)

Secret Recipe at TheSpring

Yesterday afternoon, I had the opportunity to catch up with an old friend of mine at theSpring, since that's the only place I know how to go apart from going to my auntie's house.

And we landed in Secret Recipe, which I heart the meals there big time. I wonder if the CEO of Secret Recipe would love to award me a Long Service Medal for being a hardcore loyal customer, I had my meals there at least once a week in Jusco Taman Universiti when I was in JB. And to see its opening in theSpring, makes me much more overjoyed.

One of my staple food in Secret Recipe is this very dish. Noodles in Tom Yum Soup. Mind u, it's spicy. Not knowing my friend, Clarence couldn't take spicy food, I too, recommend to him this dish. He opted for the one with prawns. Tom Yum Kung. But I have something to say.. it seems like the prawns shrink in the Tom Yum Kung in Secret Recipe Kuching.. lol! :) But nevertheless, the taste is still there, judging from my friend's nod of approval.

One thing though, this is not for the faint-hearted. I felt so sorry for Clarence as he almost cried throughout the meal. Haha.. How I wish I could take a picture of him, but he refused anyway..

The final yummy is this.. I'm not going to tell you what it is, but you have to treat me in order for me to place this special order for you. so go ahead, PM me now.. ;)

Oh Lord, merci beaucoup for this meal.. :)

It's been a while since my long disappearance..I have been very busy with my research. Anyways, I miss home very much. Things are very much different in Kuching now, I guess. Even meals are so different now.. I had a hearty meal at Auntie Pauline's place last Sunday before leaving for my place at Kota Samarahan. Only God knows how much I crave for rice. Today, with the help of my cousin, Marie, I manage to locate the nearest KFC which is 12 kM away from my place. It's in Tabuan Jaya. The moment I saw my meal being placed on the tray, I was so overjoyed I almost ended up in tears.. happy tears that is.. :) So happy to see rice, words can't describe my happiness. And I felt so sorry that I was a bit ferocious because I tugged the tray while the KFC staff was busy adjusting the food on my tray. Talking bout aggressiveness. :)
